Phase 2 employs one of the largest teams of internet developers in Oklahoma, each member of which brings diverse and rich experience. Our developers and designers each have received graduate and post-graduate degrees in a variety of fields ranging from Engineering to Visual Communications. Mark C. Towler

Founder, CEO

In 1998, Mark Towler founded Phase 2 Development on principles that set it apart from other Web solutions providers. With an extensive background in fast-growth software companies in northern California, Mark learned a great deal about how to adapt for rapidly changing technological landscapes. Unlike most companies that are technical by nature, Mark made effective communication with clients of Phase 2 a top priority. The North Carolina native has led Phase 2 through the tech boom and bust, all the while focusing on improving our clients’ business. This focus on the customer has allowed Phase 2 to be repeatedly recognized as one of the area’s fastest growing companies honored in the Metro 50 three of the six years of eligibility. When he’s not at Phase 2, Mark is a member of the Rotary, a past president of the American Marketing Association, and the State Chamber’s Tech Advisory Board.

Heath Clinton

President, COO

Heath Clinton, President and COO, is responsible for Phase 2’s day to day operations. Heath has helped companies with the adoption of technology for over 14 years. Serving in leadership roles for 17 years Heath directs the Phase 2 team and aligns the proper Phase 2 team members to the unique needs each client brings. Heath is intent on personal improvement both inside and outside of work. Heath has an MBA with an emphasis in E-business. Heath is a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma class XXI, Leadership Oklahoma City class XXIV, Secretary and Board member for Prevent Blindness Oklahoma, Volunteer for YoungLife Oklahoma City, member of Crossings Community Church, Downtown Business club and recently completed his first Ironman Triathlon.

Shane Kempton

Director of Consulting

For over 12 years Shane Kempton has been designing, developing and implementing software. He began his career at the beginning of the internet boom, and has focused on web-based development from the start. From large scale enterprise management software implementations to custom web application development, Shane has a wealth of experience using technology to improve business. In his role as Phase 2’s Director of Consulting and Chief Software Architect, he employs this experience to bring together people, processes, and technology into practical, business-minded solutions. Shane is a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma City’s LOYAL program, board member of the Oklahoma Heritage Association’s Second Century Board, member of the Oklahoma City Downtown Club and President of Code4aCause.
