The Wellness Center provides students with state-of-the-art equipment, three regulation size basketball courts, a walking track, a cardio workout area, classrooms and a health food bar. Scholarship Deadline March 1st & Financial Aid News
Be sure and get your freshman academic scholarship packet turned in to SWOSU by March 1st. SWOSU, a full financial aid institution, seeks to provide financial assistance to all students who need help in meeting the cost of a college education. Academic and talent-based awards as well as need-based aid are available to qualified students. SWOSU determines the amount of an academic award by high school GPA and ACT score.

SWOSU Athletics
Bulldog pride shines through our diverse athletic program. SWOSU’s latest addition to our lineup of programs is women's volleyball. The new volleyball program joins football, men's and women's basketball, baseball, softball, women's cross country, men's and women's golf, women's soccer and men's and women's rodeo.
In the current sports scene, the SWOSU women’s basketball team is leading the Lone Star Conference race, while the men’s basketball team is in third place. Both teams are shooting for playoff spots. Go Dawgs!

ACT? Act now!
You still have the chance to take a SWOSU ACT Residual if you are unable to take the ACT Assessment on a national test date. Students eligible to test are students who have been admitted or are in the process of applying to SWOSU. SWOSU ACT Residuals can only be used at SWOSU and can be used on the SWOSU scholarship application. Test scores will be transmitted to SWOSU's Admissions Office and made part of your SWOSU record. You may call the Assessment Center to register at 580-774-7084.
